1. Coming To America [Blu-Ray] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Eddie Murphy’s last genuine hit for almost a decade, Coming to America hasn’t aged particularly well. Too long and too inconsistent, the movie has some laughs but not enough to make it a winner. Starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall. Paramount, $14.97, 6/3/2008.

2. Coming To America: Special Collector's Edition (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you don’t own the old America DVD and want one, I’d recommend this 2007 Special Collector’s Edition. It’s not a great release, but it improves on its predecessor. If you already have the original disc, though, matters become more complicated. Though not extensive, the extras are generally interesting, so that adds value. Audio remains the same, though

5. Black Dynamite [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: While it might seem redundant and pointless to parody a genre as ridiculous as blaxploitation, Black Dynamite nonetheless offers reasonable entertainment. It pokes affectionate fun at its predecessors and manages just enough laughs to keep us with it. The Blu-ray provides pretty positive picture and audio along with a fairly satisfying set of supplements

7. Ghostbusters II: Double Feature Gift Set (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If I could view Ghostbusters II in isolation, I’d probably like it more than I do. Unfortunately, I can’t help but compare it to the original Ghostbusters, and when I contrast it with that classic, it comes up short. The sequel entertains but never makes it to the higher level achieved by its predecessor. Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd. Columbia TriSt
